Rakes
Unlike many rakes on the market the rakes we use feature angled or curved teeth, which provide several benefits. A short backward push will clean off wet leaves, grass, rubbish etc. This is referred to as ‘self-cleaning’. For this type of work hold rake at an approximate 70-degree angle.
When used at 45 degrees an angled or curved tooth can be particularly effective at creating seedbeds, even from rough clay soil by raking back and forth in just a few minutes. The forward motion draws lumps of soil upwards while the backward motion breaks them down. (A straight edge tends to just push the lumps backwards).
These come with un-varnished high-quality wooden handles because they are better at preventing sores and splinters. Also, any slight damage that can occur from everyday use is easily sanded out.

The AKTIV EXTREME range has been designed to meet the requirements of extremely heavy users, who need a wheelbarrow that is going to last in the toughest conditions. All the products within this range fit the new and revolutionary “Alpha” frame.
The “Alpha” frame has been designed with additional welded reinforcement and offers all-round tubular support to the wheelbarrow that makes it unique to Haemmerlin.
Tray capacity ranges from 90L to 120L, in different materials and in a variety of thickness.

- 90 and 120 Ltr Yellow Epoxy Powder Coated and Polypropylene trays, with front and side ribs for additional strength with double shifted edges for added robustness and safety reasons. This area is especially relevant on the tray design as it keeps the shape altogether and differentiates a proper barrow from a bad one. Haemmerlin branding embossed on the interior of the tray.
- Alpha frame: This revolutionary design forms a strong cradle both at the front of the tray, but as importantly, on the underside of the tray, and features a welded joint in the centre of the framework. This design doubles the strength and rigidity of the frame. It has a tipping bar that facilitates the process of unloading the content.
- You have a selection of 3 wheels in this range: the PW/400 Haemmerlin’s pneumatic wheel, the SW/400 the solid and the PF/400 which is the puncture free.
- Bi-material handle grips, are slip resistance and improve the grip between the hand and the product. Ergonomically designed, they have a perfect size and give a comfortable feeling and a better grip.
- All Haemmerlin wheelbarrows are ergonomically designed. Load distribution is improved thanks to the long frame, where 2/3 of the load’s weight is supported by the wheel of the wheelbarrow.
